Parental Coaching:

It is a true statement that we do not teach parents how to parent. It is just assumed that parents know how to socialize a child to his or her full potential by becoming parents. It is not so. We learn to be parents by training. Parental training is directed to maximizing the impact of family values for a child and creating the greatest satisfaction in the relationship between parent and child. The responsibilities of a parent are to foster the individual abilities of the child while socializing the behavior of the child for maximum adjustment and contribution to the family and community.

Tools for reaching these goals includes, but not necessarily limited to caring and loving approaches, spiritual approaches, behavioral modification, social training, effective role development, problem-solving abilities, communication, and relationship development.
